Greetings, this post will deal with the rank and structure of the Trimarian State Police.
State Police Cadet: A Ministry of Justice employee who is enrolled in but has not yet graduated from the Federation State Police Academy.
Trooper: Upon graduation from the Federation State Police Academy, cadets are promoted to the rank of Trooper.
Trooper First Class: This is a longevity promotion for Troopers with 3 months of service.
Corporal: Supervisor of Troopers, oversee the patrol's daily calls for service. Usually second in command to the Sergeant and leads a squad of the patrol.
Sergeant: Shift Commander, Supervisor of a unit, section, or specialty position. Commands a single patrol of 6 to 8 Officers.
Lieutenant: Patrol Commander, Supervisor of the day to day operations of their unit. Commands three squads of 6 to 8 Officers. Is assisted by three Sergeants.
Captain: Station Commander, Supervisor of Patrol Company, a Patrol Company is comprised of 4 Patrols. Assisted by 4 Lieutenants.
Major: Precinct Commander, Supervises the operations with a single precinct and reports directly to the Sector Lieutenant Colonel.
Lieutenant Colonel: Sector Commander, Supervises the operations of multiple precincts within a sector of Federation territory.
Colonel: Commissioner of the Federation State Police.
